Shapes Everywhere

Lesson: Maths

Class: Class 1 Year: 2020 - 2021

Today class one have enjoyed lots of activities related to shapes. They coloured in pictures and practised their cutting skills by cutting out a variety of different shapes. Some of the children created pictures using 2D shapes and proudly posed for a picture to show us their creations. We also played roll a shape and  raced against each other to see which shape was the winner. All the children became shape detectives using  their shape sticks to find one to match theirs around the classroom.To end the day we read the story' Mouse Shapes' the children guessed what the mice had made and enjoyed recreating them.
