Gardening Club

Our gardening club is available to children from spring through to the end of October and provides an opportunity for children to learn about growing plants, recycling and wildlife.  We grow most of our plants from seed, allowing children to experience the life cycle of a plant first hand. Our garden is organised into sections and we grow a variety of fruit, vegetables and flowers.  The children have fun doing all sorts of activities from planting seeds, weeding, finding mini-beasts, planting out seedlings and watering the garden. They especially enjoy entering the local 'Show What You Grow' competition where we have won several prizes - what a green-fingered bunch of gardening enthusiasts we've got!
