Lord Hrothgar visits Crawford

This week in Class 3, we were transported to 500 AD, when an important visitor paid us a visit. Lord Hrothgar came to tell us of dreadful tales involving the marauding monster, Grendel who had been causing havoc amongst the innocent people of Denmark. The children were then able to jump into character as Lord Hrothgar and write letters to the people of Denmark and the surrounding lands,informing them of these atrocities and asking for their help in defeating this vile and loathsome creature. Amazing vocabulary choices were made and fabulous letters were written. Well done Class 3!
