Life Cycle of a Butterfly

Lesson: EYFS

This half term we have been observing the metamorphosis of a caterpillar. The children have watched them grow over the last three weeks. They have now formed into a chrysalis and are ready to go into the butterfly net. As Miss Davis transferred them into the net the children showed great excitement when they could see the  chrysalises wriggling. Over the next week it will be wonderful to watch them transform into butterflies.
