Class: Class 2 Year: 2021 - 2022

Our focus in music this half term is Italian music and 'Pines of Rome' by Ottorino Respighi. We compared an Italian lullaby to an English lullaby before listening to a part of the Pines of Rome. We investigated what instruments we could see in the orchestra and talked about musical dimensions such as the tempo and texture. Finally, while listening to the music, we created a piece of artwork inspired by the music.
