Lesson: British Values

Class: Class 1 Year: 2018 - 2019

This week we have been looking at British Values.

We have focussed on 'Democracy' this week and what it means. As a class we discussed how we could incorporate democracy within our classroom. The children came up with a number of ideas. One of the ideas that we came up with, was to have a story book vote. The children had a choice of two books, which they voted for. The book which had the most votes was read at the end of the day. 

We then talked about how this was a fairer way to choose a story and we have done it ever since.
