Lesson: Design and technology
Today, the children took on the main course to showcase salmon. On offer today were, Salmon Fusilli with a shallot, creme fraiche and pea sauce, Nicoise Salmon salad, complete with french beans and hard boiled eggs and Balsamic Glazed Salmon with wilted spinach and golden raisins. The teams competing were: the Silly Salmons, the Veggies and the Cooking Cousins - in the same order as the afore mentioned dishes. All meals were cooked and presented to Junior Masterchef standard, with one dish receiving a 5* + rating. We had some brilliant skills on display- check out Harry with his onion chopping technique.
