Bouncy Eggs!

Our final experiment of the week was experimenting what happened when we soaked eggs in different liquids. We soaked one in water and one in vinegar. The children predicted what they thought would happen. They were left over the weekend. When we came in on Monday, we observed the changes that happened. The egg in water hadn’t changed, but the one in vinegar grew in size and we noticed that the shell had disintegrated. We decided to drop the eggs to see what happened. The egg in water smashed but the one in vinegar bounced!

The children have loved science week and are looking forward to more science fun very soon 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬
