Whole School Writing Day

What an exciting day we had on Thursday this week! The children arrived in school to find a special message left on the globe outside Mrs Eaton's office. We concluded that our planet was asking for help. There were other messages dotted around school which backed this up. Mrs Hayes had taken an early morning video of this exciting discovery which all classes watched in their bubbles. Then the action began. After lots of discussion and planning, everyone wrote a letter to planet earth offering their help. Congratulation to Scarlett in Reception, Laura in Y1, Meadow in Y2, Eleanor in Y3, Lucy in Y4, Emily T in Y5 and Luke in Y6 as their masterpieces have been selected to enter the Storytime Magazine writing competition. We will keep our fingers crossed for them. Well done everyone-we had a wonderful morning celebrating our writing.
