National Poetry Day!
Date: 2nd Oct 2020 @ 2:17pm
Class 1 had a fabulous day reading poetry, watching poets read their poems and making our own poems.
Our class is always full of colour so we all decided that a poem about colours would be perfect!
Our Rainbow
What is green, what is green?
Can you see, can you see?
The leaves and the grass, the leaves and the grass
We can see, we can see.
What is white, what is white?
Can you see, can you see?
The snow and marshmallows, the snow and marshmallows
We can see, we can see.
What is yellow, what is yellow?
Can you see, can you see?
Bananas and daffodils, bananas and daffodils
We can see, we can see.
What is purple, what is purple?
Can you see, can you see?
Plums and grapes, plums and grapes
We can see, we can see
What is blue, what is blue?
Can you see, can you see?
The deep blue see and the sky, the deep blue sea and the sky
We can see, we can see
What is orange, what is orange?
Can you see, can you see?
Pumkins and tangerines, pumpkins and tangerines
We can see, we can see
What is pink, what is pink?
Can you see, can you see?

We also enjoyed one of my favourite poems about chocolate. I think it has now everybodies favourite poem. Yum!
